Out in the Field

Who are those in the field?

While we are all called to participate in the Great Commission, some have made their ministries their full-time jobs.  Traditionally, the term "missionary" was used for those who served cross-culturally overseas.  However, most would agree that we now ought to include into that category those who serve locally, be it cross-culturally or not.  Here we shall refer to them as Cross Cultural Workers.

As a missional, sending church, behind the backs of every Cross Cultural Worker is the support of Bartley.  Do we understand the importance of our part as a church for our field workers? How can the church do its part in supporting the work of their hands?  Even with the best intentions, there are times where out of sight equals to out of mind. How can we effectively administer to these brothers and sisters?

This section of MissionsCARE seeks to provide applicable tips for the Bartley family to use when praying and supporting our overseas and local field workers.
