About the Event
Climate change… Global warming… What does the bible have to say? What did it mean for humanity to be given charge to “have dominion” and to “subdue”? How can the charge to stewardship and biblical text on the reconciliation of all creation in the final eschaton inform us on how to live out our faith practically, especially given the current environmental crises we face? How are we, as believers, to participate in this charge in a way faithful to the biblical text?
This course will explore the following: what the bible says about creation care, historical texts looking at how early believers perceived creation, and theological themes underpinning the concepts of dominion, stewardship and reconciliation.
Join us for a time of deep and lively discussions and practical sessions on the topic!
