OMF and Creation Care SG are collaborating to bring you a special reflective walk! ✨Into Lands Beyond✨ is a journey of discovery: learn about the diversity of God’s world and the importance of creation care in holistic missions, and leave inspired to participate in God’s mission for all the earth. (PM) 1:30pm-4:30pm (Art and Diversity in Nature) Instructor's Bio: Tobey Chui (OMF US) Tobey's artistic journey began with her father's guidance, holding her little hand to draw her first flower. The early connection with God's beautiful creation profoundly ignited her passion for artistic expression and creativity. With a background in design and ministry, Tobey now contributes her talents to OMF US, nurturing artistic gifts for the Great Commission and developing creative cross-cultural ministries. Join us for an enriching missional art workshop at the Singapore Botanic Garden, where nature meets missions. Discover the art of drawing plants and delve into their cultural significance. Journey into "The Learning Forest" to engage with species typical of Southeast Asia's lowland deciduous forests, including Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Myanmar. Explore how your drawings can convey the messages through guided observation and artistic expression. This workshop invites artists of all levels to explore missions through botanical beauty and cultural richness. What to Expect: Reflective sessions on the significant and cultural interpretations. Interactive discussions exploring art's role in fostering unity and acceptance. What to Bring: Sketchbook and drawing materials An open mind to explore cultural perspectives through art.
